Dental Fillings, Inlays & Onlays
Composite Fillings
Composite resin fillings can be used to repair cavities or improve the look of your teeth by correcting their shape or colour. If you need a filling, your dentist will match the filling to the natural shade of your teeth, helping it blend seamlessly with the rest of your smile.
Inlays
Inlays are a more extensive type of restoration designed to fit into the area between a tooth’s cusps (the raised, rounded parts on the chewing surface). They can be made from materials like porcelain or composite resin, providing a natural-looking result.
For patients interested in enhancing their smile, inlays can also be used to replace old silver fillings with a more aesthetically pleasing option.
Onlays
Onlays are designed to cover and restore one or more cusps of a damaged tooth, offering a more conservative option when a full crown isn’t needed. With proper care, onlays can last for many years and they are often stronger and more durable than traditional fillings.
